We held this year’s second fundraiser at the Greene Turtle. With our gift basket raffle, contributions from OWRC friends who attended the party, and the 10% of sales generously donated by the restaurant, we raised over $1100. These much-needed funds are critical for the unprecedented number of orphaned and injured wildlife that we are seeing this year. Many thanks to all who participated, as well as those who sent us donations. It was such fun to meet new supporters and exchange ideas about the animals we care so much about. Fundraising is essential for us to continue to rescue animals, as there are no government funds available for our work. If you are interested in hosting a fundraiser, please let us know! |
